Magnatone MOTS Varsity Amp & Lap Steel Pair (1951)

Another really beautiful amp & steel pair, with a great overdriven sound, which it gives out at low volumes making it a great bedroom amp. The lap steel pickup, with volume and tone controls, sounds full and edgy at the same time. The case has been professionally restored, and now functions as designed in a addition to being a thing of beauty in its own right. The speaker has been replaced with a modern Jensen C8R, which sounds perfect. The back panel is missing, and the grille mesh has been replaced. Everything else is completely original.

It's also a great sounding low powered amp when paired with a guitar, like a champ but at a fraction of the price!

This amp runs at US voltage so a stepdown transformer will be required (can be supplied if requested)
