Magnatone MOTS Model 708 Eddie Bush Special (1940s)

This is a beautiful pearloid lap steel amp from the 40s, basically a top-loaded variant of the popular Varsity model, it has that nice, early break up into a gnarly, Champ-like growl.  Point-to-point, all original (apart from a couple of caps), down to the 8 inch Alnico speaker. There is slight cracking on the cabinet, the original leather handle was replaced with something more robust some time ago, but it's in pretty good condition given its age.  Great bedroom amp for rock 'n' roll!

Runs on US voltage, requires step down transformer to work in UK & Europe.
