Sometimes called the "Country Gentleman", this 6161 is an Incredibly clean example of the best looking Gretsch of the Art Deco period. The wrap around grille cloth with the dark shadows of the two elliptical speakers is iconic. Built by Valco for Gretsch, this is a serious amp, sparkling highs, plenty of growl when pushed and a delightfully chopping Tremolo. A must have for the living room and the Studio, dare to be different!
As far as I can tell this amp is a completely original collector's grade example. External footswitch and step down transformer (required for use at UK voltages) supplied on request.
