Gibson Les Paul GA-40 (1956)

Well known for Tweed Deluxe like similarities, now recognised that 5879 pentode pre-amp tubes give this amp unique, warm bloom. Featuring what is probably the deepest, slowest tremolo you will ever hear, this amp is a feast for tired ears. The Jensen Jensen EM1220 (basically a more robust C12N) sounds lovely. There is not much that is non-original about this amp, the handle, the footswitch, the top back panel, all of which is to be expected for an amp this age. A small, non-destructive mod has been made on the speaker lead to allow the output to be re-directed to another speaker or attenuator. I have left this in because it's handy but I can easily remove it if this is what the buyer wants.

This US voltage amp requires a step down transformer to operate in the UK.
