Fender Tweed Champ 5F1 (1959)

This is a nice Champ, not pristine but absolutely bursting with character, which is so much better.  This was made by Margaret, everyone's favourite Fender engineer in 1959.  This amp has more scars than Quint but is twice as good looking.  I changed in a 3 prong chord, removed the deathcap, swapped out the failing  caps, re-coned the original Jensen because it had a large tube shaped hole in it.  Everything else is original, even the handle.  Now, it is a perfect Tweed Champ.  Requires a step down transformer to operate in the UK. It weights 13lbs 3oz despite what it says on the label!
