| Widely recognised as one of the best amps Fender ever made, based on 2 x 6L6 with 2x10 inch speaker configuration it's easy to see why. Whilst the Blackfaces now go for big bucks, the Silverfaces are still great value for what you get. Whilst this just-serviced example sounds shockingly good, it does have some cosmetic issues. There are two non-origanal knobs, one of which is chipped, and two of the other original knobs have lost their foil caps. And there is the iron imprint on the top! If it's the sound you're after then this is only good news because you'll get that sound at a bargain price. Two replacement knobs and pots aside, it's all original, including the transformers & speakers. This is the export model so no need for a stepdown transformer. No footswitch included. |
