| These amps are hidden gems. 4 x 10" speaker configuration, sporting a Triad 45249, the same fabulous output transformer as found in the Tweed Bassman, these amps are not mucking abuot. I've put a UK voltage Hammond transformer in this one to cut down on the hassle of carrying around a heavy step-down transformer. These amps also feature the famous, but rare, Fender harmonic tremolo circuit. If you haven't heard this term in the flesh then you really don't what it's like. The original speakers have been replaced with Weber Sig-10s, probably better sounding than the old ones before they were jettisoned. |
