Fender Brown Reverb Unit - 6G15 (1963)

This is a lovely example of the first classic Fender Reverb Unit.  It looks and sounds great but It's not a collector's piece, it's for playing.  We're replaced some worn out caps to bring it back up to spec.  It has a new 4AB3C1B reverb tank inside (it came with the wrong tank installed). I think the tone pot is not original and the handle also looks like a repro to me.  I made some new RCA leads for the tank with metal shielded cloth-covered wire, because it had some nasty plastic ones in there when we got it.  Someone has added some tall feet alongside the original metal gliders.  We've left these on because they may prove useful if you want to stand the unit atop another amp.  The tolex does show a few bits of damage and wear, here and there.  We've installed a UK voltage mains transformer so you don't need to use a step down.  The US power transformer it came with is included in the sale.  Let's go Trippin'!
