Fender Blackface Vibrolux Reverb (1965)

A strong contender for the best amp Fender ever made, this amp will not disappoint. Louder and fuller than the Deluxe Reverb, it's the smallest amp that is loud enough for any stage and quiet enough for the studio. Transformers date it to '65. The Jensen C10N speaker is likely original, the Oxford 10L5 dates from the year before and so is likely a replacement for a blown Jensen. Both speakers have just been reconed and sound absolutely killer. Filter caps have been replaced with quality reproductions, as have the bypass caps and bias caps, elsewhere the robust blue molded caps prevail. We have replaced the mains transformer with a Hammond so it can run at UK voltages. The original US transformer is inc luded in the sale.
