This is what they call a player's amp! Cosmetically, it's all over the shop. The case has a blonde tolex covering but the tube chart says it's black or silverface. The front panel is FEIC, the back panel is FMIC :-) The chassis and all major parts date from 1968/9, ie drip edge. Someone had installed an externally accessible hum balance pot which we have reverted and restored the internal bias adjust pot. The back panel is bent up but we can thank Fedex for that. So, what is it? Well, its guts are an AB165 circuit Bassman from 1969, so that's what it is to anyone who cares about amps. The truth is that it's a solid blackface Bassmanamp, it's been well-maintained with quality parts, executed professionally. My guess is that the last owner was an amp tech who built it out of parts that came through the store. Just listen to it if you're not sure! We have swapped in a UK voltage Hammond transformer to make it more giggable. Pair it with one of our 2x12 Bassman cab and we'll knock 10% off.
