Alamo Model 2 (1950)

This amp is adorable.   The original Jensen P8V alnico with basket-mounted output transformer has been re-coned and sounds gloriously.  It also helps dates this rarity to 1950.  The birch cab, despite some repairs, looks and sounds punchy.  The 6SJ7 pre-amp pentode gives plenty of punch and growl, albeit at neighbour friendly levels.  Be proud to own a little bit of non-lethal Texas history.  There aren't many of these about.  Needs a step down transformer to run on UK voltages.
